AI Innovation Center

The AI Innovation Center "Learning Systems and Cognitive Robotics" supports companies in exploiting the economic opportunities offered by artificial intelligence and machine learning in particular. In application-oriented research projects and in direct cooperation with industrial companies, the Stuttgart-based Fraunhofer Institutes for Production Engineering and Automation IPA and for Industrial Engineering and Organization IAO are working to bring technologies from cutting-edge AI research into widespread use in the manufacturing and service industries. They are supported by the Institute of Human Factors and Technology Management IAT of the University of Stuttgart. The center receives financial support from the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economics, Labor and Tourism.
