Take the A 8 Karlsruhe - Munich freeway to the Stuttgart freeway junction, then take the A 81/ A 831 (Singen) in the direction of Stuttgart-Zentrum, continue until the "Universität" exit, then turn left at the traffic lights into Universitätsstraße; this leads into Nobelstraße after approx. 120 m; immediately after the "Nobelstraße" bus stop, turn right onto the Fraunhofer site; parking is available in the parking garage of the institute center.

By cab

From the airport to the Fraunhofer Institute Center Stuttgart approx. 13 km (travel time: approx. 15 minutes), from the main train station approx. 12 km (travel time: approx. 15 minutes).

By public transportation

From Stuttgart main station or airport take the S-Bahn lines S1, S2, S3 in the direction of Vaihingen. Get off at the "Universität" stop. Take the "Wohngebiet Schranne / Endelbang" exit, then walk approx. 900 m to the Institute Center (approx. 15 minutes on foot) or alternatively take bus lines 84, 91, 92, 746, 747, 748 or 749 to the "Nobelstraße" stop.
